village of Gaudies which sits on the River L'hers. The area is superb for fishing

swimming, picnics, painting and bird watching , white water rafting, canooing,

biking and walking trails from you accommodation

Hameau de certes is around 45 minutes from Toulous and Carcassonne,

1 hour 15 minutes from Andorra 20 minutes from Mirepoix , 25 minutes from

Foix. and 10minutes from Pamiers

The property is situated close to the village of Belpech (2 kms), you will find

banks, cash points, supermarkets, a pharmacy, doctors' surgery,

restaurant, a newsagent, bakery and petrol station.

If you can tear yourself away from all the facilities on offer at Hameau de Certes, the Ariege has plenty of activities for the energetic.Water adventure parks, caves and gorges, white water rafting, canooing, water skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking, bungy jumping.

Lake Montbel has a beach and watersports, picnic areas,30 mins away.

Direction from Carcassone Turn right out of airport, follow directions to Montreal, then direction Fanjeaux, immeadiately after Fanjeaux turn right direction Belpech. Follow signs for Belpech, drive through the village passing the bar/restaurant La Vixiene on your left and after crossing the bridge take the first left turn. Turn right almost immediately afterwards for direction Gaudies.You will see the sign for Certes at the crossroads, turn left up the hill and enter Certes

Direction from Toulouse Airport - Toulouse direction Montpellier, follow until the right turn onto the motorway for Foix and Andorra, contine, exit at the Mazeres turn off. At the first roundabout head for Mazeres,at the second roundabout head for Belpech, take a right turn off this road direction Gaudies. Drive into Gaudies village square, once in the village square with the church on your left and the river in front of you, follow the sign to Certes
